Key Legislation:
Craig Blair is passionate about education being tailored to the individual needs of each student. He is a long-time advocate
for alternatives to public schools, including homeschooling, charter schools, and private education, which focus on each
student's unique needs. With a background in Career and Technical Education, Blair also believes in providing students with options and alternatives to the traditional classroom experience.
SB47: Created a fund to provide up to $300M to new Charter Schools.
SB630: Allows County public school systems to offer virtual education and an
HB3055: Created a vocational math class for students interested in careers in the trades.
HB3113: Starting in the 2024–25 school year, high school students must complete a half-credit personal finance course before graduation.
HB2013: Created the Hope Scholarship Program, an Education Savings Account Program.
